Google Code Next:
4 Panels in 45 Minutes

I gave an interactve comic making lecture to a cohort of students in Google’s Code Next program.

Within our 45 minute time slot, I live streamed my creation process of moodboarding, thumbnailing, and basic storytelling. I didn’t prepare art beforehand, as I wanted to provide insight into the realtime design process.

As I worked, each student followed along, and created their own 4 panel comic based on a shared theme. I emphasized the value of each students personal narrative, regardless of precieved drawing skill.
